Virginia-based heavy rock band Valkyrie recently signed a deal with Meteor City Records (The Obsessed; Nebula, Unida). Meteor City will reissue both Valkyrie's self-titled debut album and their second album, Man of Two Visions. Release dates are set for July 5 (Europe) and July 6 (North America.).

Holger Nilsson spent most of his days institutionalized undertaking psychiatric care at Umedalen's Hospital. After a tragedy that took place in the village of Yttre Åkulla before World War II, just north of Umeå, he was convicted of manslaughter on his wife whilst pleading not guilty. During the consequent time at Umedalen's Hospital he wrote down his version of what had happened. Soundtrack by Cult Of Luna.

The album ”Numbers” of SKW was released in February 2009 on Risingworks label, worldwide distributed by Self/Code7/Plastic Head. This album is the strong expression of the musical maturity acquired by the band which emphasises the mix between American modern metal and the band’s usual energy, completed by a sonorous evolution of aggressiveness and by melodies of strong atmospheres.
